Following the critical acclaim of their debut album Rumeurs / Murmures, released on the Neuklang label, Tom Bourgeois and his large ensemble return with a bold new project: Echoes & Waves, to be released by Igloo Records in 2027.

Where the first album explored the discipline and creative tension of a strong artistic constraint, this new chapter embraces freedom. Echoes & Waves gives each musician room to express their own identity, bringing together a rich mosaic of compositions, voices and musical narratives.

At the heart of the new project is the human voice.

Five distinctive vocalists — Linda Olah, Veronika Harcsa, François Vaiana, Loïs Le Van and Tsai Wen-Hui — join the ensemble, each bringing their own colour, language and musical personality to Tom Bourgeois’ compositions.
The result is an expansive and deeply personal sound world, where written music and improvisation meet, and where the individual voices of the musicians become part of a larger collective story.
